GIFT SUNDAY
Thanks to the generosity of regular givers, Witney Parish in recent years managed to meet its Diocesan Parish share and running costs in full. We are in touching distance this year too. To get there we are holding a GIFT SUNDAY on 11 October, which is also Harvest Festival. By giving extra on that day we will follow our forebears, giving a tithe of the harvest bounty back to God.
To meet our shortfall we need to raise £16000. We ask you just to give what you can, according to where you see yourselves on the pyramid opposite:
How to give:
On 11 October we will ask you to fill out an anonymous pledge card and place it in the offertory to be blessed that day. You can fulfill your pledge by
- BACS transfer to:Witney PCC, Sort Code 20-97-48, Account Number 00971626.Remember to add a reference, for example ‘Gift Day 2026‘
- QR code: please use our one time gift QR code which will be on the back of the pledge card, on the Parish website and in the Benefice Bulletin
- Cheque: please make payable to Witney PCC and either place in the offertory pouch or send to the Parish Office, St Mary’s Church, Church Green, Witney, OX28 4AW.
