Children in Sunday Services
10:45 Junior Church at St Mary’s, Witney
- For children aged 5 to 11, Junior Church offers Bible-focused activities during the main service. Children rejoin the congregation for Communion and with the option to receive a blessing or Communion as soon as they are ready. Children of visiting families are most welcome.
-
Older children help in our Sunday worship, serving as acolytes (lighting and carrying candles) or crucifers (carrying the cross into the service)
9:15 Children’s Corner at St John’s Hailey
- Our cosy Children’s Corner at the back of the church offers toys, a colouring table, Bible-themed sheets, and a small library. At Hailey, children are embraced as part of our worship, with the option to receive a blessing or Communion as soon as they are ready.

- Messy Church at Windrush Church in Witney is a family-friendly service held on the first Sunday of each month at Windrush Church of England Primary School. The gathering begins at 10:15 am with crafts and a light breakfast, followed by worship at 10:45 am
