Sunday 12 July: Friends of Hailey Church Summer BBQ, Lamb & Flag, Hailey, 4.00 pm to 8.00 pm. Live music from the Eynsham Ukulele Band.

Thursday 16 July: People’s Emergency Briefing film screening, St Mary’s Church, Witney, bar opens at 6.30 pm, film starts at 7.00 pm. Witney Eco Forum joins with MP Watch Witney for a screening of a film exploring solutions to climate change and the science behind heatwaves, followed by discussion. Witney MP Charlie Maynard will attend.

Tuesday 21 July: Book Circle, Winchester Room, St Mary’s Church, Witney, 2.30 pm. The group will be discussing Mansfield Park by Jane Austen. New members welcome.

Sunday 30 August: Witney Bellringing Tour, St Mary’s Church, Witney, 1.30 pm. A tour of the ringing room, including the history of bells and bell ringing, peal boards and an opportunity to chime a bell. Organised in conjunction with Witney Museum.

Sunday 18 October: Witney Bellringing Tour, St Mary’s Church, Witney, 1.30 pm. A further opportunity to visit the ringing room, hear about the history of bells and bell ringing, and chime a bell. Organised in conjunction with Witney Museum.
