Upcoming Events

    • Friday 6th March: World Day of Prayer. Services will be held at the Congregational Church. 10.30 am and 7.00 pm. Everyone is warmly welcomed.
    • Sunday 8th March: Ladies Guild of Ringers, will ring a quarter peal at St. Mary’s from 3/3.15 pm. This will be followed by general ringing from 4/4.15pm.
    • Saturday 14th March: Coffee Morning, 10.00 am – 12 noon at Holy Trinity Church.
    • Saturday 14th March: Witney Schools Making Music, 7.00pm, St. Mary’s, £5, under 12s free.
    • Tuesday 17th March: The Book Circle will meet in the Winchester Room at 2.30 pm. They will be discussing ‘The Warden’ by Anthony Trollope. All are welcome – One off visitors and people wanting to ‘try us out’ before joining.

      Lent

      • Lent Discussion Group: Thinking about Worship, Thinking about God.
        This discussion group takes place on Wednesdays in Lent at 6.30pm, in the Winchester Room (St. Mary’s).

        We will be thinking about why we do what we do on a Sunday morning, and how that links to what we think about God. After this we will look at key moments in our worship: confession, scripture, intercession, and sacrament, discussing what they mean in worship as well as in our daily lives.

      • April 1st Wednesday in Holy Week Eucharist at St Kenelm’s, Minster Lovell, 7.30pm
      • April 2nd Maundy Thursday Solemn Eucharist with Washing of Feet and Watch, St. Mary’s, 7.30pm
      • April 3rd Good Friday Reflective Service at St. John’s, Hailey, 12 noon.
      • April 3rd Good Friday Solemn Liturgy of Good Friday, St. Mary’s, 2.00pm
      • April 4th Easter Eve Easter Vigil, Holy Trinity, 7.30pm
      • April 5th Easter Day Sunday Eucharists as normal
