How to give financial support to the Parish of Witney

Regular Giving through the Parish Giving Scheme

By far the most efficient way of regular giving is via the Parish Giving Scheme, administered on our behalf. It also manages any Gift Aid claims from HMRC so that we receive these extra funds monthly to aid our cashflow.

You can join the Parish Giving Scheme

  • BY PHONE: call 0333 002 1271, between 09.00 and 17.00 quoting our code: 270627266.

To make any changes to a pre-existing donation through the Parish Giving Scheme, call 0333 002 1260 between 09.00 and 17.00.

The code to identify Witney Parish in the Parish Giving Scheme is 270627266

If you currently give by Standing Order or via the envelope scheme, then please consider moving to the Parish Giving Scheme as it doesn’t require us to handle physical cash, minimises the number of trips to the Bank, and eases the burden on Michelle when submitting Gift Aid Claims.

Parish Giving Scheme

One Off Gifts by BACS

If you wish to make a One Off Gift to the Parish, it would be ideal if you could make these payments electronically by BACS. Payments should be made to:

Witney PCC, Sort Code 20-97-48, Account Number 00971626.

Remember to add a reference, for example ‘One Off Gift’ (if in response to the recent letter) or ‘Hardship Fund’ (for a gift to be used to help those in greatest need).

If you don’t have access to online banking, and would still like to make a one off gift, then send a cheque payable to Witney PCC to the Parish Office, St Mary’s Church, Church Green, Witney, OX28 4AW. Write the purpose of your gift on the back of the cheque (as suggested above).

One off Gifts online

One off or regular gifts can now also be made via the Parish of Witney - Give A Little web link. Or scan this QR code

PCC Giving QR Code

We encourage you to share these link to support our work in the community and the fabric of the Church.

Text Giving

If this is your preferred method of giving, you can now donate via Text Message. Simply text WITPCC to 70480 to donate £10.

For other amounts text WITPCC followed by the amount that you wish to give to 70480 e.g. WITPCC 15, WITPCC 5 etc.

Gift Aid

Donating through Gift Aid means that we can claim an extra 25p for every £1 given from the Government. It will not cost you any extra. If, in the past, you have already signed a Gift Aid declaration form, then we will assume that any further gifts are covered by this declaration, unless you specifically advise Michelle to the contrary.

If not, and you would like a form, please contact Michelle in the Parish Office 01993 779 492, or e-mail her at Office@witneyparish.org.uk

Thank you for your Generosity

Thank you for supporting the work of the churches within Parish of Witney. Whatever you choose to give is both hugely appreciated and gratefully received. All donations are treated anonymously, and clergy do not have access to any donor information.
