Team Rector: Witney Benefice Vacancy
The Benefice of Witney is looking for a Team Rector with a pastoral heart, and a passion to grow the Kingdom of God in Witney. We seek someone who will be genuinely excited to lead a large, gifted Ministry Team with complementary skills and experience, and who will work enthusiastically and collaboratively with clergy and laity across the benefice.
Our new Team Rector will:
Strive to be Christ centred, and have a passion for nurturing and developing the image of Christ in all the individuals and communities which they serve
Share our commitment to the four key ‘pillars’ which underpins the achievement of our strategy:
the celebration of the Eucharist and the observance of the Daily Office, as sources of nourishment to our spiritual well-being, and
a passion for Inclusivity and Hospitality, as characteristics which frame our interactions with everyone, whether within the church, or in our wider community
Build our existing flourishing ministries, working in collaboration with the existing Ministry Team, members of our various congregations and many within the wider community
