I first came to St Mary’s on Easter Sunday in 2018, when I was new to Witney and looking for a home church. I was impressed by the friendly welcome and the sense of joy in the service, and have been a regular ever since. I was elected as Church Warden three years ago, and feel it’s a great privilege to be able to serve the congregation in this way. I particularly enjoy the ministry of hospitality that we offer at St Mary’s, and am part of the planning committee for Witney Festival of Food and Drink, as well as helping with the many meals and social events that happen here. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my four grandchildren, playing for Witney Town brass band, and spending time with friends.
